Pop! Goes the Bubble!

Before we got into our unit on the human body which we are starting this week, we took a side street and checked out Bubbleology 101.
We tested the bubble producing properties of two different dish washing detergents, and charted our results. Then we added glycerin to both to determine if the glycerin would improve the bubble making of each brand.
Our results were interesting. The glycerin seemed to make no difference to one brand of soap, but actually doubled the size of the bubble in the other brand. Go figure! :)
