Oh, Dem Bones! Dem Bones!

We started our science unit on the Human Body with an estimation of how many bones are in the body. The students guessed how many they thought we had and then, using posters of the different areas of the skeletal system, we counted them and discovered there were about twice as many bones as "we" first thought!
After that, we assembled models of the skeletal system to see how much we knew about where everything went. Fortunately, we had only 19 pieces to assemble and not 204!
