SwitchOn!

This morning, prior to our Science TAKS test,we got out something called SwitchOn!. I thought it might be a good way to review what we learned (hopefully) earlier this year when we studied electricity with our FOSS kit.
The SwitchOn! kit is VERY cool. It allows students to build circuits from simple to very complex. In honor of one of our school's teachers whose birthday is today, we built a musical doorbell that played the birthday song. We took it to her in the teacher's workroom and Tanner had her push the doorbell button. For some reason, Mrs. Wellborn was a little leery about pushing the button as I guess our reputation proceeded us...
Next we built a voice amplifier, yeah like we need one of those, tomorrow I plan to have the guys make a radio receiver and then a circuit that will actually broadcast over the air!
