Air-Powered Vehicle

This morning to get our brains working, I presented a problem to my students. I challenged them to make an air-powered vehicle using items that included: a paper bag, 4 brass paper fasteners, 4 large paper clips, 2 drinking straws, string, glue, tape, etc.

They were allowed to build any type of vehicle, be it a land-based or air-based. We will take their creations to the tiled floor of the cafeteria and have a starting point, after 5 tries, we'll take the average distance traveled to determine the winner.

When we come back, we'll discuss the good and the bad of the designs and problem solve for a better design.
